Step-by-Step Offercity Home Rehab Timeline
Our most recent home rehab project turned an old distressed home into a charming and bright single-family home. Here we are sharing a timeline of a full home renovation Offercity recently finished and walk you through some of the significant moments of the process.
The first thing we did was have our team come in and take any items left behind. From the start, we knew this home would need some major love. We started by removing the stove and cabinets from the kitchen and the fixtures from both bathrooms. Next, we took down the wallpaper and wooden panels from all the bedrooms and the flooring throughout the home.
Once we stripped the home down to its foundation, our team prepared the home for the interior paint and new flooring. Our goal was to brighten up the home so we decided on light grey walls and grey luxury vinyl flooring throughout. We wanted to optimize the kitchen and living room layout, so we added a breakfast nook to the wall connecting the two areas to open up the space.
Another major area we wanted to focus on was the primary bedroom. Originally, the home’s layout had two hallway bathrooms. However, we converted one of them into the primary bathroom, so to do this we extended the primary suit by moving the door further into the hallway bringing the bathroom inside.
By this time, new doors and windows were installed throughout the home, and most of the interior painting had been complete. We installed new tile in both showers added white bathroom cabinets with built-in sinks. The new kitchen cabinets were going up, and recessed lighting was installed throughout the living room, kitchen, and hallway.
At this point, the inside was nearly complete. All the bedrooms had new carpet and luxury vinyl planks throughout the kitchen, living room, bathrooms, and hallway. We installed antique blue polished ceramic tile as the backsplash, quartz countertops, and new stainless steel appliances to give the kitchen a luxury feel. To increase the value and curb appeal of your home, we gave the exterior got a new paint job, a new garage door, and an upgraded landscape.
Once everything was complete we brought in a professional stager to make every detail stand out. Afterward, our photographer came in to capture the beauty of this house.
